Motherhood should not be a fight for survival.

Period: February 8 – March 8

Why We Started

In the winter of 2018–2019, six children under the age of one died in the Pirita community.

It was a wake-up call that forced us to act.

The Mothers and Babies Program began as an emergency response, so that no child would be lost again due to lack of access to care, warmth, or medical support.

This campaign exists so that history does not repeat itself.

Support the program with a donation or essential products for mothers and babies.

Not All Children Start Life Equally

For a child born in a marginalized community, life begins with barriers:
  • lack of clean water
  • lack of hygiene
  • lack of access to doctors
  • lack of basic information.

These are not poor choices — they are structural inequalities that start from the very first day of life.

A child should not pay the price for where they are born.

Help us reduce these barriers through donations of diapers, medicines, hygiene products, or financial support.

Mothers Are Not the Problem. They Are the Solution.

Mothers in Pirita are not negligent or indifferent.

They are women carrying the weight of a difficult life, often alone — without support, without role models, without access to services.

When they receive information, trust, and continuity, they make remarkable progress.

When you support a mother, you change a child’s life.

Become part of the “Mothers for Mothers” network.

What a Weekly, Consistent Program Can Do

One meeting per week may not seem like much.

But over time, it means healthier, cleaner children; mothers who know when to see a doctor, who ask questions, who no longer rush to emergency rooms at night out of fear.

Change does not come from a single big gesture, but from constant presence.

Support the continuity of the program in the long term.

From Isolation to Community

At first, mothers did not support one another. Fear and scarcity led to conflict.

Today, they share clothes, remind each other not to miss meetings, and use the same phone to schedule medical appointments.

The program has created a community of mothers.

No one should have to be a mother alone.

Help us keep this space safe and alive.

What Concrete Support Really Means

For a mother with a three-month-old baby, support means: clean diapers, timely medication, a place where her child can be examined, and someone who explains without judging.

Simple things — but vital ones.

Dignity begins with basic needs being met.

You can donate money, diapers, hygiene products, food, baby clothes, or strollers.

Mother’s Day Is Not About Flowers

For some mothers, Mother’s Day is not about flowers or gifts.

It is about survival, worry, and overwhelming responsibility.

The “Mothers for Mothers” campaign turns this day into a real act of solidarity.

One mother supports another. This is where change begins.

Stand with the mothers of Pirita on March 8.

Why We Need Support Now

We currently have the resources to run the program until April.

To carry it forward, we need the support of the wider community — people who understand that prevention saves lives.

We are not asking for pity. We are asking for partnership.

Donate. Share. Get involved. Mothers for Mothers. No child left behind.
