A green bag. A blue bag. A yellow bag. That’s how a safety net begins.
It could mean diapers, hygiene products, or clothes for a newborn.
It can cover medications, doctor visits, or urgent procedures when an emergency situation arises.
It can provide comprehensive support during the first few months of life: essential products, monitoring, and safety for both mother and child.
Ten years ago, a child born in Pirita was, more often than not, invisible to state institutions.
Today, things look different.
Every child has an identity before birth, is treated with dignity at birth, and is welcomed home with greater security, support, and care.
This change didn’t happen on its own. We built it step by step, together with the community.

That’s how our “Mothers with Babies” program came to be (Learn more ->)—built on concrete, timely actions: support for parents, essentials for newborns, access to a family doctor, monitoring of the child’s development, and rapid intervention when emergencies arise.
At this time, the program has been suspended due to a lack of resources.
Starting this fall, when the risks for young children increase, we hope to be there again for the families in our community.
Each little bag becomes part of this safety net.
It may seem like a small thing. But that’s exactly how lasting change happens: through small, consistent actions, taken together.
